Skiing and snowboarding are fun activities. When accidents do occur, however, it can put a damper on the vacation for a little bit. Knowing a little bit about the environment and your ski/snowboard equipment will definitely help prevent such things from occurring. It is also important to know some basic first aid so that if someone does become injured, you have knowledge of some things that can be done to help improve the situation while waiting for aid from a ski patroller.
